He was predeceased by: his wife Babs; his siblings, Pauline Best (Alf), Audrey Roland (Dave) and Gord (Marilyn); and his brother-in-law Lloyd Rockett.
He is survived by: his sister Nina Rockett; his brother-in-law Murray Caldwell; his children, Martha (Jim), Chris (Lorrie), Pam (Chuck) and Wendy; and his grandchildren, Lucie, Johanna, Ben, Maxine and Caldwell. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
Donations to Trent University First Peoples House of Learning and Ed's House hospice in Cobourg.
