He was predeceased by: his parents, Dirk Looije and Clara (Toet); and his sister Lenie (Winston Kerr). He is survived by: his wife Laurie Robertson; his daughter Karen (Doran Donnelly); his grandsons, Ryan and Allen Donnelly; his stepdaughter Kim (Scott Gilmore); and his brothers, John (Lee-Anna) of Montana, USA, Ron of Kananaskis, BC and Aart of Surrey, BC.
