He was predeceased by: his grandchild Shawn. He is survived by: his children, Sandi, Pat (Angelo), Jim (Louise) and Mike (Joan); his grandchildren, Sherry (Wayne), Ben (Amanda), Sara, Aaron, Brittany (Daryl) and Bridget (Randy); his great grandchildren, Anthony (Chantal), Dynell (JJ), Chance, Dakota, Shannon, Shaunessay, Sheridan and Sterling; and his great great grandchildren, Nathan, Lexus, Elise, Paisley, Harper and Tesla.

Ron began his career journey as an inspector with A.V. Roe Canada and was very proud of his contribution to the Avro Arrow project.
