It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thomas Gordon Atkins of Port Lambton, Ontario, born in Chatham, Ontario, who passed away on May 20, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Gordon Atkins and Mildred Atkins (Gallerno); and his brother Daniel. He is survived by : his wife Ellen Atkins (Hay); his sons, Gavin Atkins (Stacey), Tyler Atkins (Bria) and Ian Atkins (Claire); his grandchildren, Hayden, Jed, Navy, Ella and Emmy; and his siblings, Dave Atkins (Bunny), Janice Miller (Steve), Patricia Atkins (Rick), Bruce Atkins (Rose), Wayne Atkins (Kelly), Mary Kay Bechard (Chris), Jim Hay (Anne), Tim Hay (Cyndi) and Mark Hay (Marianne). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 23rd 2023 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM and on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (466 John St, Port Lambton, ON N0P2H0). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
