He was predeceased by : his wife Helen; and his siblings, Jean Mitchell Bain and Al Heard (Jean). He is survived by : his sons, Paul (Norma) of Port Hope, Brent (Dianne) of Waterloo, Barry (Karen) of St. Thomas and Scott (Penny) of Port Perry; his grandchildren, Paul David (Christine), Geoffrey (Jasmine), Heather, Derek (Jessika), Curtis (Jenna), Max (Rachel) and Vaughan (Stacey); and his great grandchildren, Loki, Judd, Max, Shea, Brett, Addison and Hadley.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Wagg Funeral Home (216 Queen St, Port Perry, ON L9L1B9). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Port Perry Hospital Foundation or the Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation.
