It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Ruth Eckel (Port Perry, Ontario), who passed away on June 23, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Patricia Ruth departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Patricia Ruth. Though Patricia Ruth may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald. She is survived by: her children, Scott (late Royann), Steven Eckel and Sharon Buschbeck (Martin); her grandchildren, Lawrence (Santana Moore) and Angela; her great grandchildren, Abel, Matthew, Benjamin and Jacob; and her brother Norman Trew (Debbie). She is also survived by her extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
