He was predeceased by: his father Charles Gillard of Walsingham; and his brother Albert. He is survived by: his mother Betty Gillard (Gary White); and his siblings, Roger Gillard (Liz Robbins) of Forestville, Walter Gillard (Tammy) of Mississauga, Doug Gillard (Ruby) of Oshawa, Tara Devos (Bryan Loewen) of Aylmer and Paul Gillard (Carrie Winkworth) of Delhi. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the Jeffrey W. Glendinning Funeral Home (36 Front Rd, Port Rowan, ON N0E1M0). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 1st 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
