She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Brunette and Thursa Brunette (Provost); and her sister Marilyn (Mal Sharp). She is survived by: her husband Fred Shippam; her children, Trevor (Christine) of Mattawa, Kimberly (David Schneider) of Rio Rancho and New Mexico; her grandchildren, Peter and Elizabeth Schneider; and her brother Albert Brunette of Brantford.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 2nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jeffrey W. Glendinning Funeral Home (36 Front Rd, Port Rowan, ON N0E1M0). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart R. C. Church (28 Albert St, Langton, ON N0E1G0).
In lieu of flowers, donations to Muscular Dystrophy Canada would be appreciated by the family.
