He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Shorney and Sarah Shorney (Edwards); and his siblings, Fred, Colin, Mace and Mildrid.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Shorney; his daughter Karen (Scott Blair) of St. Thomas; his grandchildren, Deanna, Travis, Alex, Rebeca, Connor, Reilly, Jackson, Carson and Sloane; and his great grandchild Arthur.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Clubhouse of the Villages of Long Point Bay (26 Long Point Blvd, Port Rowan, ON N0E1M0).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Donations are being accepted for: CANADIAN CANCER SOCIETY - SOCIÉTÉ CANADIENNE DU CANCER (CANADIAN CANCER SOCIETY - SOCIETE CANADIENNE DU CANCER).
