He was predeceased by : his former life partner Lydia; his daughter Ruthann Wiebe; his siblings, Erna (Henry Hiebert, Mary) and Henry (Betty); and his brothers-in-law, Peter Driedger and John Heinrichs.

He is survived by : his spouse June; his children, David (Ruth) of Port Rowan, Richard (Clara) of Boissevain, Gordon (Rita) of Port Rowan, Lois (Richard MacKenzie) of Brampton and Lawrence "Sam"; his child-in-law Bill Wiebe (Lorraine) of Port Rowan; and his siblings, Bill (Ellen), Margaret Driedger of Port Rowan and Helen Heinrichs of Port Rowan. He is also survived by his 26 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren.
