He was predeceased by: his parents, James and Glenna; and his brothers, Fred, Jimmy and Renford.

He is survived by: his wife Debbie Sanderson; his children, Chris (Chantelle), Alex (Jess), Tammy Bannerjee (Sam) and Doug (Allissa); his grandchildren, Hannah, Markus, Makayla, Josh, Dakota, Jaxon, Hunter, Lucas, Kali, Devon and Skylar; and his siblings, Reg, Brenda (Wayne), Sandy (Dave), Renee (Serg), Verna (John) and Pat.
