He was predeceased by : his wife Elsie Mae Baese (Smith); his son Dennis (Carol) of Port Rowan; his parents, Johann Baese and Maria Baese (Petker); and his siblings, Johann, Heinrich, Peter (Mary), Marie (Peter Neumann), Sarah (Jake Wiens), Helen (Harold Hayes), Anna (Peter Wiens), Velma (Fred Skuce) and Margaret (Bill Harris).
He is survived by : his children, Linda Coderre of Straffordville, Chris (Gerald Boyd) of Port Rowan and Randy (Michelle) of Simcoe. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Norfolk General Hospital Palliative Care would be appreciated by the family.
