He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Ardiel and Nancy Ardiel (Hackett); his son Shane; and his brothers, Melvin and Fred.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his child Tracy Peakman (Michael Perrault) of London; his grandchildren, Kevin, Kaitlin, Matthew and Shane; his great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Farin, Kiana, Lilly of Elisa, SJ, Thunder and Emery; and his sister Maureen Scapinello.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
