He was predeceased by: his parents, Ken Downing and Jessie Downing. He is survived by: his wife Karen Matsui; his daughters, Amanda (Owen) and Melissa (Patrick); his grandchildren, Wesley, Dylynn, Elijah and Max; his sisters, Debbie and Jennifer (Marks); and the mother of his children Liz. He is also survived by extended family members, friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Port Stanley Theatre (Dorothy Palmer Room) (302 Bridge St, Port Stanley, ON N5L1C3).
