Colette Beaupre Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Colette Beaupre of Port Sydney, Ontario, born in North Bay, Ontario, who passed away on June 7, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Roland Demers and Jeanne Lebel; and her husband John Beaupre. She is survived by : her brother Maurice Demers; her stepchildren, David, Suzanne and Michael; her boyfriend John Somerset; her daughter Judy; her son-in-law Jamie Vanderveer; her stepchildren, Amanda and Trevor Somerset; her grandchildren, Cameron Vanderveer and Melanie Healey; her great grandchild Olivia Vanderveer; and her great-aunts, Colette and Beaupre.

Nursing and therefore caring was in her blood and spoke about how during Covid there was a plea for retired nurses to help out, but she would say "I'm a little too old to go back".

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital or the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
