She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Giesler; her parents, Muriel Hummel (Turcotte) and Edward Hummel; and her brothers, Edgar and Lyle Hummel.
She is survived by: her children, JoAnne (Robert Elliott), Jennifer (Tim Bertrand) and James "Jim" Giesler; her grandchildren, Nicholas Elliott, Barrett Elliott (Dinah), Matthew Elliott (Cally), Hailey Bertrand-Sluman (Chris Sluman) and Kelsey Bertrand (Stephen Mack); her great grandchildren, Sarah, Joseph Elliott, Alexander, Eleanor Mack and Briar Sluman; and her brother Ronnie Hummel (Clarise).
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Church, Powassan.
