He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Barber and Hazel Barber (Clarke) of Hotham; and his siblings, Adrian, Stella Church (Leonard), Orval, Eleanore Beatty (Jim), Beth Cross (Lloyd), Donna Saunders (William) and Frank.
He is survived by: his wife Mae (Beatty); his children, Chris Barber (Donna), Shari Culin (Robin), Gloria Hanna (Ashley) and Trina Odd (Rob); his grandchildren, Carly (Darren), Kaitlin (Ryan), Emily, Dakota, Megan and Markus (Josée); his siblings, Jim Barber (Helen) and Brenda Stillar (late Evie); his sisters-in-law, Ruth and Phyllis; Isla Reed and Bonnie Smith. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Paul Funeral Home (531 Main St, Powassan, ON P0H1Z0). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at the Nipissing Cemetery (4506 ON-654, Nipissing, ON P0H1W0).
