He was predeceased by: his daughter Lana Wagner; his parents, Doris Wagner (Chapman) and Hugo Wagner; and his siblings, Shirley Rich (late Richard) and Reg Wagner.

He is survived by: his wife Cheryl (Moore) of Powassan; and his daughter Sonya Whittaker of Barrie.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Donnie's memory to Nipissing Serenity Hospice (https://www.canadahelps.org) would be appreciated.

“I had the pleasure of knowing Don for some 30 plus years. We worked together at MTO. Fished on Nip and Wasi and hunted together along with our many pals. He had an infectious laugh/giggle and loved to entertain and be the centre of the party while still coaxing everyone to join in. As of today I have a constant repeat playing in my head of Dons rendition of “Here’s a quarter call someone who cares”. Keep on strumming and smiling Big Buddy.”
