He is survived by: his wife Barbara (Miller); his children, John Phillips, Tom Phillips, Cory Phillips (Julia), Christopher Phillips (Louise), Debbie Stabryla, Karen Parker, Brenda Strong (Greg), Linda Boone (Rod), Sandra Boone (Rick), Robert Gravelle, Cindy Flynn (Nick), Richard Gravelle (Eva Lynn), Lorrie Diver (Danny) and Charlene Gravelle (Pete Allair); his brother-in-law Fred Johnson; his niece Carole; and his nephews, John and Steven Johnson.

Donations may be made in Earl's memory to Parkinson Canada and the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
