He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Deborah (McKenna) of Powassan; his children, Amanda Hurrell of Powassan and Michael Smith (Jamie Cornelius) of Kitchener; and his granddaughter Ava.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Nipissing Serenity Hospice are suggested.
