He was predeceased by: his wife Martha (Kirk); his daughter Marina; and his parents, Bessie Currie (Cotter) and Johnston Currie. He is survived by: his son Norman (Sonya Neufeld); his grandchildren, Mercedes, Jacob, Brendon (Courtney), Dallas (McKenna) and Britney; his great grandchildren, Sena Rose, Colt and Ayla; and his siblings, Janice MacDonald (Everett), Dale Slinn, Larry (Cathy) and Aaron (Kathleen).
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Paul Funeral Home (531 Main St, Powassan, ON P0H1Z0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
