It is with sadness that the passing of George Ruston (Powassan, Ontario) is shared. George passed away on October 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
George will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honour George by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though George is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. George’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Ruston (McColl) and Francis G. Ruston; and his sister Ruth. He is survived by: his wife Jane; his grandson George; and his sisters, Christine Rodriguez and Mary Ester Brown.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Paul Funeral Home (531 Main St, Powassan, ON P0H1Z0).
