He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Vokes and Audrey Vokes. He is survived by: his wife Nancy (Kewell) of Burk's Falls; his children, Kyle (Naomi), Katie, Shinnay (Len) and Alyssa; his granddaughters, Hannah and Chloe; his stepdaughters, Kathleen and Sarah; his stepgrandchildren, Diamond, Stephanie, Cole and Dakota; and his brothers-in-law, Richard (Linda) and Jimmy Kewell (Ivy-Lynn).

In recognition of Gord's love of animals, memorial donations to a local animal support service is suggested.
