She was predeceased by: her husband Neil Pfaff; her sisters, Laura Dobson (Gord) and Kathleen Brandt (Carman); and her parents, William Sopher and Isabella Sopher.

She is survived by: her son Kenton Sopher.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Powassan Wesleyan Church (204 Big Bend Ave, Powassan, ON P0H1Z0). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

If desired, donations to the Powassan Wesleyan Church, or the Nipissing Serenity Hospice would be gratefully acknowledged by her family.

“Although I have many great memories of Aunt Grace or Gracie as my mom would call her- my favourite ones are from the many Xmas parties we had when our family was young. We would arrive at Grace and Neil’s and take over-, eating her baking, raiding her freezer for more and playing Pit- and pass the Ace until mom had had enough of our noise- Grace was a kind and very sweet person with a great sense of humor. She will be sadly missed- love Lori and all of the Bruce family”
