Jonas Morkunas Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jonas Morkunas (Powassan, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 27, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Barb; his children, Elvin Morkunas, Nijole Toeppner (Tim) of North Bay and Johnny Morkunas (Shandell) of North Bay; and his siblings, Antanina Leparskas, Elena Bersenas, Zuzana Stravinskas and Juozas "Joe" Morkunas.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Joshua, Genna (Leo) and Valkyrie; and his great grandchildren, Elena, Leah, Weston, Linnea, Maija and Eeva.
