He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosa Giesler (Renette) and Bernard Giesler; and his siblings, Madeline Weiler (Ed), Gertrude Gallow (George), Peter Giesler (Betty) and Carl Giesler (Doreen).
He is survived by: his wife Bernadette (Hummel); his children, JoAnne (Robert Elliott), Jennifer (Tim Bertrand) and James "Jim" Giesler; his grandchildren, Nicholas Elliott (Lindsay Selzler), Barrett Elliott (Dinah), Matthew Elliott (Cally), Hailey Bertrand-Sluman (Chris Sluman) and Kelsey Bertrand (Stephen Mack); his great grandchildren, Sarah, Joseph Elliott, Alexander, Eleanor Mack and Briar Sluman; and his siblings, Patricia and Willie Giesler (Verna).
