He is survived by: his children, Joseph H. C. Evans and Cynthia Roy (John); his grandchildren, Geniveve Evans, Taylor Evans and Lina Roy; his sister Mary Catherine Summers (Craig); his nieces and nephews, Clayton (Joni) and Erin Boring (Nicolas); his brother Tom Evans (Judy); his nephew Tom Holmes (Rachelle); his child Beverley Evans; his former wife Paulette Evans; his children, Lyne Kelly (Chris) and Nathalie Cormack (Jeff); his grandchildren, Michelle, Stephanie, Garbrielle, Kyra Kelly and Abigayle Cormack; his grandfather Joseph J; and his son Joe Jr.
