He was predeceased by: his wife Elaine (Eby); his parents, Gladys Steele (Armstrong) and Mervyn Steele; and his brothers, Ronnie Steele (late Judy) and Walter Steele (late Shirley).
He is survived by: his children, Christine Ouellette (Randy) of North Bay, Lisa Amendola (Dale) of North Bay and Mitchell Steele of Powassan; his son-in-law John Ouellette of North Bay; and his grandchildren, Danielle Ouellette (Colin) and Bradley Normand (Jordan). He is also survived by his numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
