She was predeceased by: her parents, James Miller and Agnes Miller; and her siblings, Claire, John, Marion, Theresa, Leonard, Lloyd, Henry, Gary and Marjorie.

She is survived by: her husband James Porter; her children, David McCharles (June), Cathy Verge, Dianne McCharles and Leona McCharles (Jason); her stepchildren, Mark Porter (Sue), Jennifer Porter and Valerie Porter; her grandchildren, Montana, Chloe Warbrick, Jack, Maggie, True Copple, Taylor McCharles, Mackenzie, Larissa Porter, Victoria and Vanessa Porter; and her siblings, Robert, Barbara, Jean, Geraldine, Deborah, Donna and Jim. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
