She was predeceased by: her husband Tiitus "Tye" Somer; her parents, Veronica Strong (Loy) and Cecil Strong; and her siblings, Patrick Strong, Deirdre Doherty and Kathy Gray.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda (Bill Harman) of Powassan, Karena (Keith Tudor) of Kitchener and Susan (Paul Beach) of Michigan; her grandchildren, Mark Somer (Donna) of British Columbia, Kevin Somer (Marion), Tyler Somer (Evy) of Kitchener, James, Michael Harman, Tashi, Erica, Dayne Somer, Samira, Abigail (Richard), Lindsay, Brandon and Amelia Somer; her great grandchild Hailey Lynn; her siblings, Diarmuid and Leo Strong of British Columbia; her siblings-in-law, George Gray, Tom Dreyer and Anne Dreyer; and her friends, Ireland, Estonia and England. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and many more cherished relatives.
