He was predeceased by: his daughter Tammy Byers; his parents, Liz Byers (Restoule) and Enos Byers; and his siblings, Beatrice Hurley, Blanche Pollock (Rick Vollick), Lula Gray (Wally), Norma Rowland (Royce) and Clinton Byers (Carol).
He is survived by: his wife Joyce (Stockill) of Powassan; his grandchildren, Brandi (Davin) and Justin (Michelle); and his great grandchildren, Avery and Kieran.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 453 Powassan, the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer Society are suggested.
