He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Steel and Myrtle Steel. He is survived by: his spouse Raven Littleone of Nipissing; his children, Patty Thompson-Steel (Donny) of Burk's Falls, Greg Steel (Deanna) of Haliburton and Susie Steel (Paul) of Montreal; his stepson Jonathan Spencer (Krysten Caddy) of Toronto; his grandchildren, Daniel (Elizabeth), Matthew and Chloe; his great grandchildren, Izzy, Lilly and Evelyn; his sibling Jim Steel (late Maria); and his nieces, Caroline and Catherine.
