He was predeceased by: his sister Catherine Newstead. He is survived by: his spouse Jean (Mueller) of Woodstock; his children, Keith of Sturgeon Falls, Kerri of Moose Jaw, Kristi of Teeswater and Kelli of Cookstown; and his brother Ken Carder of Wallaceburg. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
