He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Virag (Dosa) and William Virag; his brothers, William Virag Jr. (late Anita) and Robert Virag; his in-laws, Olive (Cheaney) and Ervin Whitehead; and his siblings-in-law, David Whitehead and Debbie Ball (late Dave).
He is survived by: his spouse Laurie (Whitehead) of Trout Creek; his daughter Amanda Byham (Colin) of Trout Creek; and his siblings-in-law, Margie Currie (late John), Eleanor Culin (Butch), Roland Whitehead, Nancy Bussey (Barry), Joline McCauley (Gerry) and Peggy Whitehead.
