She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel James and Charlotte James; her siblings, Mae (Lloyd), Joyce (Ted), Edward, Robert, Raymond and Kenneth; her in-laws, George and Violet Brousseau; her siblings-in-law, Harvey (Jesse) and Lillian (Claude); Lauralee.
She is survived by: her husband Gerald; her sons, Randy (Sue) and Dan (Carole); her grandchildren, Amanda (Jason), Adam (Mel), Joshua (Haley), Makenna (Tristan), Juliana (Keaghan), Paige (Colby) and Chloe; her great grandchildren, Charles, Benjamin, Shaylynn and Miller; and her brother Howard (Karen). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Paul Funeral Home (531 Main St, Powassan, ON P0H1Z0). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ruth's memory may be made to Alzheimer Society of North Bay (https://secure.alzheimeron.ca), CHEO Foundation, Cassellholme Charitable Foundation, or a charity of your choice.
