It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Malcolm Blumsom of Powassan, Ontario, who passed away on February 10, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Joan; his parents, Henry James Blumsom (Duke) and Adelaide Blumsom; and his siblings, Harry Blumsom (Mary), Sidney Blumsom (Doreen), Dorothy Jackson (Alf) and Kay Walton.

He is survived by: his children, Deborah Milroy of Powassan, Diane Blastorah (Peter) of Powassan and William Blumsom Jr. (Paulette) of Powassan; his grandchildren, Lisa (Chris) of Powassan, Geoff (Tina) of Owen Sound, Sean (Natalie) of Powassan, Caitie of North Bay, Emily of Revelstoke, B. C. and Margie of Minden; his great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Carter, Tyler, Jacob, Charlotte and Cohen; and his extended family, Michelle (Aaron) of Powassan, Brandon (Emilie) of Niagara Falls and Haden of Powassan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

“To My Colleague, Friend and Partner in a False Crime on 14th March 1986, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia when we became known as "Strike Three" after a women's baseball (Linda Shannan) game on our singles compound sports field separating the married compound from the single men compound. I had the pleasure of meeting Bill Blumson in Saudi Arabia, during the early 80's. Our accommodations were in the same building 12. I am the last living victim of the "Strike Three." God Bless you "Bill", Patrick!”
