He was predeceased by: his parents, William Norton Barton and Grace Morilla Barton; and his siblings, Wilbert, Hubert, Evan, Joseph, Earl, Lloyd, Jereldene Dempsey, Willa Ault, Dorothy Running, Marion Geary and Ruth Barton.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Barton; his daughters, Carol Anne Collins (Boon) and Donna Lee Barton (late Walter Rathie); and his grandchildren, Amelia Collins, Darcy Collins and Alison Rathie. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and their extended families.
