It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Erma Kirkby of Prescott, Ontario, born in Cardinal, Ontario, who passed away on October 1, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Charles "Chick" Kirkby; her parents, Oscar A. Poaps and Dora "Mildred" Poaps (Robertson) of Cardinal; her sister Lorraine Armstrong (Donald); and her siblings-in-law, Lorne (Bev), Ken (Jean) of Syracuse, NY, Arthur (Patricia), Donald, Bernard (Nancy), Carl (Madge), Jean Stethem (John) of Prescott, Marg Perry (Jim) of Prescott and Patsy Boivin of Prescott.
She is survived by : her children, Mark (Laurie) of Prescott and Dean (Pam) of Prescott; her grandchildren, Nannie, Justin (Sandy Graham Kirkby), Josh (Lesley Hubbard), Nicole Layng (Dereck) and Jennifer (Chris Willis); her great grandchildren, Tyson, Kennedy, Owen, Mallory, Ethan, Lucas, Camden, Braedyn, Devin Kirkby, Cyara Layng, Spencer and Abbigail Kirkby; and her brothers-in-law, Leo Boivin (Susan) and Hall Kirkby (Nora). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
