He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Elms and Katherine Adele Elms; and his siblings, Evangeline Salisbury, Fanny Elms, Cathleen Moore, Alfred, Frank and Edwin.
He is survived by: his siblings, Florence Westlake of Prescott and Fred Elms of Brockville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
