He was predeceased by: his wife Ruby Sandy; and his sisters, Anna, Deborah, Dora, Flora, Joan, Lola and Marion.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Dakota, Preston (Katelyn), Joey, Tanya, James (Christine), Jonah (Cheyanne) and Jarred. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
