She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Miller and Genevieve Miller; her husband Paul Okanski; her brother Ken Miller; and her granddaughter Haley Takeda.
She is survived by: her children, Tom (MaryAnn Hodge), Marianne Robertson (David), Jennifer Takeda (Yutaka) and Peter (Sandra McFetridge); her grandchildren, Everett, Warren Okanski, James, Emma Robertson, Liam and Logan Okanski; her great grandchildren, Isla, Seraphina, Freya Okanski, Dahlia and Lachlan Fiset-Robertson; and her daughter-in-law Lynn.
