He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ferguson and Viola Ferguson (Blackburn); and his siblings, Marjorie Anderson (Don), Betty Armstrong (Bill), June Edgerton (Ben) and Elwood (Maureen).

He is survived by: his wife Irene Nichols; his children, Kelly (Michael Klinowski), Bob (Petrena) and James (Meg); his stepchildren, Cynthia (late Karl Fick), Sherry-Lee (Ken Windle) and Jorden; his grandchildren, Maya (Quin), Skye, Ronin and Owen; his brothers, Jack (Alice) of Cobden and Keith (Lucille); his brother-in-law Carl Nichols (Della Charbonneau); Thelma Nichols. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at Mateway park Saturday May 8, 2021 (Covid-19 permitting).

In lieu of flowers donations to Eldon's favorite charity Renfrew Valley Animal Rescue would be much appreciated.
