With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Geoffrey Alan Ditmar (Renfrew, Ontario), who passed away on December 18, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Geoffrey leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Geoffrey may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his father Frank Ditmar. He is survived by: his children, Leicy Ditmar, Ashley Farrell (Joe), Robyn Ditmar, Andrew Ditmar and Timothy Ditmar; his mother Barbara Richmond; and his sister Susan Ditmar.
A Memorial Gathering will take place at the Goulet Funeral Home, 310 Argyle St. S., Renfrew, on Saturday, December 27, 2025, between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. In memory of Geoff, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
