He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold and Dorothy; his siblings, Mary (Rick Johnston) and John (late Joan); and his brother-in-law Michael (Ann Moriarty).
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Harold Jr. and Irene (Michael Jones); his grandchildren, Declan and Fiona; his siblings, Tom (Anna Mary), Anne (Larry LePage), Michael (Sharon), Elizabeth (Jim McHale), Paul (Collette) and Laura (Len); and his sister-in-law Teresita McInrue (late Wayne). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:10 AM at the Goulet Funeral Home (310 Argyle St S, Renfrew, ON K7V1T9). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Michael's Church (5390 ON-60, Douglas, ON K0J1S0).
