She was predeceased by: her husband James "Jim" Payton; her son Thomas "Bud"; her brother Bill Elliott (late Myrna); and her sister-in-law Ivy Thompson (Dugald). She is survived by: her children, Sue Stevens (John Hamill), Laurie Payton (Klaus Walter) and Peter (Tammie); her child-in-law Tracy Clarke; her grandchildren, Aimee Bates (Tom), Scott Stevens (Wanda), Selena Stevens (Marc), Addison Gilbert, Kristin Payton (Mike), Tanner Payton (Courtney), Kennedy Payton (Blair), Jenny Goodwin (Jeff), Ben Payton (Jamie), Seneca Shore (Braedon), Dylan Shore, Ethan and August; her great grandchildren, Tyreese, Jayden, Slade, Landon, Jackson, Nolan, Felix and Penelope; and her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Hughson and Betty Lange.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Goulet Funeral Home (310 Argyle St S, Renfrew, ON K7V1T9). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity St. Andrew's United Church (291 Plaunt St S, Renfrew, ON K7V1T9).
