With sadness, we share the passing of Chris Rapos (Richmond Hill, Ontario). Chris, born on December 25, 1940, passed away on October 10, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carol; his children, Jamie (Susie) and Elaine (Jason); his grandchildren, Christopher, Sophia, Andrew and Christian; his parents, Magda and Blage; his parents-in-law, Dorothy and Jim; and his siblings, Bill, Jerry, Tony and Frosa.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Centre (50 Overlea Blvd, East York, ON M4H1B6). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Clement of Ohrid Macedonian Orthodox Cathedral (76 Overlea Blvd, East York, ON M4H1C5). A burial will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Elgin Mills Cemetery (1591 Elgin Mills Rd E, Richmond Hill, ON L4S1M9).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada and/or Hospital for Sick Kids.
