As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Desmond may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his father George F.; his wife Bernice; and his brothers, Terry (Joan) and Fred. He is survived by: his sons, Craig and David; and his sister-in-law Joyce Hewitt (Bob). He is also survived by his many nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Marshall Funeral Home (10366 Yonge St, Richmond Hill, ON L4C3B8). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Mary's Anglican Church (10030 Yonge St, Richmond Hill, ON L4C1T8).
