With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harry David Legge (Richmond Hill, Ontario), who passed away on February 15, 2026 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Alvy (Smith); his sister Shirley Eakins (Warner); his brothers-in-law, Warner Eakins, Sam Cook and Bruce Lloyd; and his parents, Gladys Geraldine (Legge) and Percy Clinton Hill.
He is survived by: his children, Meredith, Megan, Marta and Paisley; his sons-in-law, David Robitaille, Don Cranston, Stewart Priddle and Dan Garvey; his sisters-in-law, Betty Cook and Eleanor Lloyd; his grandchildren, Cameron (Michaela), Christy (Phillip), Alistair (Lyndsay), Aidan Robitaille (Clare), Sarah (Andrew), Wesley (Christina), Owen Cranston, Madeleine (Adam), Charlotte (Joe), Sophie Priddle, Grace, Malcolm and Will Garvey; his great grandchildren, Leo and Miles Robitaille; his grandchildren, Quinn, Maeve Cunningham, Charles, Lachlan Robitaille, Chiara and Beatrice Cranston; his children, Jenette Lagos, Pia Juanico, Grace Guillem, Shayne Abrojena and May Rayos; and his pet Ginger. He is also survived by uncle.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 23rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Marshall Funeral Home (10366 Yonge St, Richmond Hill, ON L4C3B8). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Mary Anglican Church (10030 Yonge St, Richmond Hill, ON L4C1T8).
Memorial donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to The Ridley School Foundation, St. Catharines, or the Southlake Hospital Foundation, Newmarket.
