He was predeceased by : his wife Evelyn; and his sister Agnes Bush (Bert). He is survived by : his daughters, Pauline (Arthur Archibald) and Elaine (Ken Young); and his siblings, Betty Dart, Nellie Fagents (George) and Bill Simms. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID restrictions a private family funeral service will be held.

“My sympathy to Jim's family. We will miss him at RHPC. I stood beside your father in the most recent year of church choir rehearsal for Christmas 2019. I enjoyed that chance of getting to know him and stayed awaited after that. He shared the same year of birth as my father. I was very pleased that he was able to be at my marriage celebration in 2019. Blessings.”
