He is survived by : his wife Margaret; his children, Mary-Margaret (Gary), Gerry (Laurie), Paul (Wendy), Pat (Audrey), Cathy (Rob), Maureen (Rob), Tim (Sarah), Matt (Lori), Kevin (Anna) and Ellen; and his siblings, Michael (Shauneen), Louis and Barbara. He is also survived by his 31 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.

I remember the umpteen times Maureen would talk about her dad, lovingly, and with charm and good humour. She’d get the best advice and had great trust in his loving wisdom. The times I met him, he was jovial and had a sweet gift for making us youngsters, feel at ease.. My dad spoke very highly of him too and loved to beat the ball around the squash court with him.
